365 Pause Practices – Day 52
NO MATTER WHAT!
In my quiet morning pause I received:
Your worth is not measured by the world – worldly success.
In fact, your worth is not measured at all,
for only LOVE knows your true value.

I experience LOVE not as punishing, but forgiving, not as counting my mistakes, but cheering on my great strides.
In high school, I choreographed a Pom Pom routine to the tune “No Matter What” by Badfinger. It reinforced that I am loved.
The words, “No Matter What” do not mean that I can go on about my everyday business as if no one or the world doesn’t matter; that I can be unloving and unaware of people’s needs because LOVE will love me anyway so why bother.
Rather, my choice to be aware of this NO MATTER WHAT LOVE moves me towards LOVE, therefore, I am equipped to love others as I conduct my daily business.
