The Path of Least Resistance

This does not mean everything we are INspired to do will be easy; it
may be quite challenging and we will come upon obstacles and
difficulties, yet like a bird soaring through the trees we can stubbornly
crash into the tree forcefully attempting it to move or we can
remember “ease” and fly around the tree. What may appear to be a
circuitous path is a direct path into Peace (pg. 165).

Apply a Mindset of EASE with Anything!

Ease UP!

Today I noticed I was rushing and wrestling with the laundry wanting to get on to the next thing causing myself tension. Why do we do this to ourselves? Is this how I want to use my energy? Do I want my mind all in knots just like wet clothes? NOOOOOO. I paused and said to myself, “Mary, slow down, you can do laundry with ease.”

NEED SOME EASE?

The Pause Practice is learned best when applied to some specific
daily task or communication because this is where
ego impatience and defensiveness dig its heels in!

Choose a task in which you get annoyed or a
person with whom you become defensive and use
Pause Practice shown below.
