Across the Bright

I am by no means a poet, writer, or author.
I am simply choosing to Pause for Inspiration
throughout an ordinary day.
I notice what I hear, see, and experience.
Passing it along to you.

Peace Be With Us All

When our light burns bright,
shining for free,
the space we feel between us,
falls away in The LOVE
within you and me.
What we once experienced as distance,
current strife and pain from the past,
becomes a bridge of Light,
upon which our burdens have been cast.
Casting our thoughts into This Light
burning our burdens into ash,
we no longer need to worry
about some future backlash.
So often it seems,
we turn away from This Light,
taking control of the trip,
planning our flight.
The Light sets us free
from confusion and doubt.
Certainty is found
as we cease running about.
Searching finds its finish once and for all,
responding to This Inner Light
becomes our daily call.
The Light creates the way,
such is the path ahead.
In my willingness to let go,
my skin is finally shed.
No one can force us to shine our light,
we can stand our ground in darkness
or find an anchor in This Light.
We can live in emptiness and shadows
or glide across the Bright.
