Pause For Peace of Mind
Pause For Peace of Mind

How come we resist Pausing?
Pausing can show you how busy the mind is and if you think pausing means you have to clear your mind of all thoughts, that can turn you off from pausing. A blank mind is not the goal. One simple pause is.

PAUSE ~
Give
yourself a
moment of
calm. Rest.
Great, you paused. Now what do
you do with all these thoughts,
feelings, images, sensations . . ?
Do not push any of them away, up,
down, or onto someone else. That
can make you feel more aggravation,
sadness, and uncertainty. Could you
just set thoughts and feelings aside
for a moment? Give yourself some
space. You are worth a pause.

STEP BACK ~ Give yourself a
break from yourself. Take a
breath. Allow room for
another way. Rest.
Good job. It’s not easy to step
away from the same old tapes
playing repeatedly in your mind.
It takes discipline.
Open to receiving Wiser help from
Inspiration Within You; Wiser than
that chattering mind could ever give
you. Rest.

Wisdom is always Safe, Wise, Kind,
and Truly Helpful. You may not like
or even agree with Wisdom. True
Wisdom challenges distorted,
unhelpful perceptions of yourself,
others, and the world.
The choice is always yours to follow
your True Inner Wisdom or the fear-
based, reactive, chattering lower
mind.

pause is a pause away
